The Saugerties Village Tree Commission (SVTC) was established in 2014 by the Village Board of Trustees to promote and manage the planting, maintenance, preservation, and removal of trees and shrubs within the Village of Saugerties.  We steward the Village urban forest to improve air quality, reduce noise and visual pollution, moderate climate extremes, conserve energy, enhance public safety, and support the community’s quality of life.
