Description: The duties of the Village Treasurer are to oversee all financial aspects of the Village, including payroll, accounts payable, tax collection, personnel,preparation of budgets and financial statements.  The treasurer also assists the Mayor and Grant Writer with special projects as they arise.

The Village Treasurer presents monthly financial statements to the Mayor, Supervisors and Board Members to keep them current with spending and revenues.

Online Village Tax Payment

Village of Saugerties residents can now view and pay their Village Taxes online, with a new Xpress-pay web app.  The payments will be able to be made without penalty, from June 1, 2026 to June 30, 2026.  To get to the Xpress-pay web app, please click here or on the image on the left.

Online Village Water Bill Payment

This is the water/sewer customer portal.  You are now able to create an account and view your usage and billing, make payments, as well as sign up for ebills!  Online payment fees are FREE for E-check transactions, and 2.5% of the total bill with a minimum charge of $1.50 for all credit card transactions. (Again, this fee is a credit card fee; it is not a Village of Saugerties fee.)

Please make note that you will need your account # and CID which will be typically be found on your June bill ... or you may call the office at 845-246-8958 to get this information.
