LEGAL NOTICE

The Board of Trustees of the Village of Saugerties, in conjunction with the Town of Saugerties, NY will receive bids up to 10:00 a.m. on Thursday February 1, 2024, at which time said bids will be opened at the Office of the Village Clerk, 43 Partition Street, Saugerties, NY for the purchase of the following Chemicals during the calendar year 2024:

• Sodium Hypochlorite 12.5% bulk delivery (minimum order of 300 gallons),
• Copper Sulfate-50 lb bags, Light Soda Ash-Sodium Carbonate- 50 lb bags,
• Zetalyte (3N) Powered Polymer,  Calciquest ESC 532N (supplied in 30 gallon drums),
• PCH 180 Polyaluminum Hydroxy Chloro sulfate 80 basicity bulk delivery of 1500 gallons,
• Belt press dewatering polymer, Powdered  ChargePac 650     50 lb. bags,
• Sodium Bicarbonate- 50 lb bags.  Mg(OH)2  Magnesium Hydroxide  in 50 lb. bags.
• Potassium Promaganate  - KMnO4 – 50 lb.

All chemicals must be water and wastewater approved-standard ANSI 60, NSF, UL, WQA approved.

Chemicals must be delivered to either the village water department, the village wastewater department, or the Town of Saugerties Water/Sewer Department, FOB Saugerties, at their convenience, in the amount specified by that department, in no more than one week’s time from the date ordered.  Any empty containers or carboys will also be picked up at this time.  All bids must be plainly marked: SEALED BID FOR THE WATER AND WASTEWATER DEPARTMENT CHEMICALS.  The Village Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any and all bids. All bids MUST represent the full fee charged and include all miscellaneous fees (e.g. delivery/fuel/freight surcharges) with the bid proposed.  Also, all bids will be received in accordance with Chapter 605 of the Laws of 1959 of the State of New York.  For more information call Mike Hopf at 845-246-8958.
